Documentation
You submit the application form, certificate of registration and contact details. We guide you through the process.
RIPE Registration
We register your resources with RIPE NCC, create route objects, rDNS delegation and RPKI/ROA.
Deployment
Your IP addresses are ready to be announced. We monitor routing and DNS on an ongoing basis.
Who needs their own IP resources?
ISPs & Operators
Own IP blocks and AS numbers for multihoming, peering and full routing control. Eliminate dependence on a single upstream.
Hosting Companies
IPv4 and IPv6 for your customers' servers. Reverse DNS delegation per customer and IP reputation management.
Enterprises with Data Centers
Provider-independent addresses that follow you when switching providers. No IP migration when changing connections.
Email Infrastructure
Own IP addresses with correct rDNS and IP reputation for high deliverability. Avoid shared blocks with poor reputation.
Academic Institutions
Research networks and campus infrastructure with own allocations and flexible subnetting.
Security Companies
Dedicated IP blocks for pentest infrastructure, honeypots and security monitoring with isolated routing.
Registry services with network expertise
Unlike pure registry providers, we operate our own AS number (AS51701), BGP routing and data centers in Stockholm. This means we understand the entire chain — from RIPE registration to actual traffic.
Our registry services integrate seamlessly with colocation, VPS and IT management. Announce your prefixes directly via our infrastructure or bring them to any operator.
Own AS number (AS51701)
We run our own BGP routing with MX204 routers and direct peering. No intermediaries — we understand routing in depth.
RPKI & DNSSEC as standard
All prefixes are signed with ROA and all DNS zones with DNSSEC. Security is included, not an add-on.
Expert support
Call or email — you talk to people who understand routing, DNS and RIPE policies.

Questions about IP registry
Answers to common questions about IP addresses, AS numbers and registry services.
As a Sponsoring LIR, Adminor handles your registration with RIPE NCC without you needing your own LIR membership (which costs approx. 1,400 EUR/year). We administer your IP resources, reverse DNS, route objects and contacts in the RIPE database. You retain full control and ownership of your addresses.
Yes, provider-independent (PI) addresses can be announced via any operator using BGP. We assist with route objects and Letter of Authorization (LOA) for your upstream provider. The addresses are yours and follow you regardless of where you place your infrastructure.
IPv4 allocations via the RIPE NCC transfer market typically take 2-4 weeks including due diligence. IPv6 allocations and AS numbers can be delivered within 1-5 business days as these resources are still available directly from RIPE.
RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure) is a cryptographic method that protects BGP routing from prefix hijacking — someone unauthorized announcing your IP addresses. We create and maintain ROA objects (Route Origin Authorizations) for all your prefixes. More and more operators filter RPKI-invalid announcements, so without ROA you risk losing connectivity.
Yes, DNSSEC is included in all DNS zones at no extra cost. We handle key generation, signing and automatic rotation. Both forward and reverse zones are signed, which protects against DNS spoofing and cache poisoning.
Yes, we handle transfers of existing RIPE resources. Changing Sponsoring LIR requires consent from both parties. We guide you through the entire process — from contacting your current LIR to updating the RIPE database. A transfer typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Purchasing a /24 block (256 addresses) on the transfer market currently costs typically 6,000-9,000 EUR. Leasing through Adminor costs 5,500 kr/year (setup 5,500 kr), which is significantly cheaper and requires no capital investment. IPv4 prices have risen steadily since the RIPE NCC free pool was exhausted in 2019.
PA (Provider Aggregatable) addresses belong to your operator and do not follow you when switching providers. PI (Provider Independent) addresses belong to your organization and can be announced via any operator using BGP. PI addresses require their own AS number but provide full portability and protection against vendor lock-in. Adminor offers PI addresses via Sponsoring LIR.
Your own AS number is needed if you want to announce PI addresses via BGP, peer at internet exchange points like Netnod, or have multihoming (multiple connections) for redundancy. If you only need IP addresses for servers with a single operator, PA addresses are usually sufficient. We help you assess what fits best.
Why are IPv4 addresses scarce?
RIPE NCC distributed its last /22 allocation from the free pool back in 2019. Since then, new IPv4 addresses can only be acquired via the transfer market — meaning purchasing or leasing existing blocks from other holders. Prices have risen from approx. 15 EUR per address in 2019 to 25-35 EUR per address in 2025/2026, depending on block size and cleanliness.
A /24 (256 addresses) currently costs typically 6,000-9,000 EUR to buy on the transfer market. Leasing through a Sponsoring LIR like Adminor is significantly cheaper and requires no capital investment — you pay an annual fee and we handle all the administration.
Organizations that do not already have IPv4 addresses can join RIPE's waiting list for a /24 (the last allocation being made). The wait time is currently several years. Contact us if you want help joining the queue or acquiring addresses faster via the transfer market.
Lease instead of buying
Avoid the capital outlay of 50,000-75,000 SEK for a /24 block. Lease from 5,500 kr/year and keep the flexibility.
Clean IP reputation
We check all blocks against blocklists and RBLs before assignment. You avoid inheriting others' spam history.
Future-proof with dual-stack
Combine IPv4 leasing with an IPv6 allocation and dual-stack routing. We help you with the transition.
PA vs PI — which type suits you?
There are two main types of IP addresses in the RIPE region. The right choice depends on whether you want to change providers without changing addresses.
PA — Provider Aggregatable
What: Addresses that belong to a LIR/ISP and are assigned onward to customers.
Advantages: Easier to obtain, often included in hosting agreements, no own BGP needed.
Disadvantages: Do not follow you when switching providers — you get new addresses and must update DNS, firewalls and client configuration.
Suits: Companies with simpler needs that do not plan to switch operators frequently.
PI — Provider Independent
What: Addresses that belong to your organization, registered via a Sponsoring LIR (such as Adminor).
Advantages: Portable — follow you regardless of operator. Full control. Can be announced via BGP with any upstream.
Disadvantages: Requires own AS number and BGP setup, or an operator that announces on your behalf.
Suits: ISPs, hosting companies, enterprises with own data centers, and anyone who wants to avoid vendor lock-in.
