Adminor AB is one of Sweden's most experienced IT companies. Since 1983 we have helped businesses build, operate and evolve their IT infrastructure — from single servers to complex cloud architectures.

Our history

Adminor was founded in 1983 and has grown to become a trusted partner for Swedish businesses that need reliable IT infrastructure and strategic advisory.

We operate our own network (AS51701) with peering at STHIX and SONIX, and have datacenter locations in Solna and Västberga in Stockholm. This gives us full control over the infrastructure and the ability to deliver genuinely high availability.

As a Sponsoring LIR with RIPE NCC, we can manage IP addresses and AS numbers for other organizations — a unique capability that few Swedish IT companies possess.

1983Adminor Aktiebolag is registered in Stockholm (reg. no. 556227-6351).
Early 2000sAdminor runs wireless broadband (WISP) under the name MWAN on the Mälaröarna islands — one of the early Swedish operators in radio-based broadband.
Around 2004The business shifts toward web hosting, hosting and IT operations.
2008Adminor moves into a data hall in Hammarby — its first own data centre presence.
2012Establishment in Västberga, southern Stockholm.
2014Connection to KN7 — expanded connectivity and peering in Stockholm.
2021Alexander Norman acquires all shares and becomes sole owner. Adminor has since operated as a wholly owned, independent Swedish IT company.
2022–2023Establishment in Solna, northern Stockholm. The older Hammarby site is decommissioned.
TodayOwn autonomous network (AS51701) with RIPE-LIR status, colocation in ISO 27001-certified facilities (Solna and Västberga) and IT management for Swedish businesses.
